How our reports are produced
Insider Threat Roundup uses an AI-assisted newsroom. Each day, our system reviews publications from trusted government agencies and security researchers, reads the full original article and produces an original news report about it.
Accuracy and impartiality
Reports state only facts contained in the original sources, attribute claims to the people or organisations who made them and avoid speculation and opinion. We write in plain British English for a general audience.
Originality and attribution
We never republish other publishers' articles. Every report is written in our own words, and an automated check compares each draft with its source to stop copied wording from being published. Short quotations are always marked and attributed. Every story links to its original sources.
Images
Photographs that accompany our reports are illustrative images created with AI. They do not show real people or events.
Duplicate stories
When several organisations report the same event, we publish a single report and list every source, instead of publishing repeated stories.

If you believe a report contains an error, please contact us and we will review it promptly.
